Small Groups

Being a Christian teen in today’s culture goes against the norm.  Gap Creek Youth provides a place for young adults to get together and realize they don’t have to do this journey alone.  Through small groups, students learn important Biblical truths, how to discern and defend their beliefs, and how to deal with the growing challenges of being Christian young adults.

Youth Serve

Our youth are also given opportunities to serve and can be seen assisting in the nursery, helping with children’s church, taking up offering, helping in the sound booth, and providing support and encouragement throughout many ministries in the church.

Activities

In addition to small groups and service, our group spends time in fellowship through various activities throughout the year.  For the last 14 years, the youth have hosted a themed family-friendly Valentine’s dinner for our church body.  They have traveled to different conferences including Hearts on Fire in Pigeon Forge in November and Winter Jam at Thompson Boling Arena in February.
